The prominent Turkish exiled leader, Fethullah Gülen, has been named as the world's top intellectual in an international poll conducted by Foreign Policy magazine. Gülen has been praised as a moderate Islamic leader with huge influence in his home country but some argue that he wants to overthrow Turkey's secular order and create an Islamic state.
