Dr. William Taft Stuart shares his testimonial after the intercultural and dialogue trip to Turkey, under the auspices of the Gulen Movement-affiliated Rumi Forum. Wearing two hats as a tourist and scholar alternately, Dr. Stuart presents his firsthand experiences with the movement during and prior to the trip and shares his conclusions he has arrived with respect to the movement.
William Taft Stuart teaches anthropology at the University of Maryland-College Park, where his specialty is Comparative Religion with a concentration on New Religious Movements in the globalized world of the 21 Century. He has worked in various countries and among diverse religious and ethnic groups in the Near East and Eastern Europe.
